Brisbane-based infrastructure group Pensar has opened a new regional office on the Sunshine Coast as part of the company’s strategic growth
plan, with the move demonstrating a commitment to long-term opportunities within the wider region.
The new Coolum office will be headed by infrastructure specialist and Sunshine Coast resident Michael Bissett, who has been appointed in the
new role of Regional General Manager for the Queensland infrastructure specialists.
Mr Bissett will oversee the delivery of Pensar’s full suite of capabilities within the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions and beyond,
signaling an increased focus for the company on regional infrastructure projects.
Founder and Managing Director of Pensar, Karl Yunker, said the establishment of the new Sunshine Coast office was an important milestone for
the business, which was continuing to grow at a steady pace.
“Our new regional office is a key component of our growth strategy and I’m delighted to welcome Michael to his new role, where his broad
experience within the infrastructure industry and local knowledge will benefit our existing and future clients,” Mr Yunker said.
“Our Coolum office will draw on our expertise across numerous industries and sectors to deliver Pensar’s broad range of services, including
urban development, civil infrastructure, water, power and structural solutions, and resources and energy infrastructure.
“Pensar is going from strength to strength and the opening of our new Sunshine Coast branch is part of our investment for future growth.”
Mr Bissett’s appointment marks a return to the business for the highly experienced manager, who has held positions within the infrastructure
industry across Australian and internationally.
“Pensar is a growing business with a great culture and many exciting opportunities and I’m proud to be part of a new chapter in the history
of the company,” Mr Bissett said.
“There is enormous potential within the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions and we’ve recognized the need to establish a permanent base to
show our strong commitment to the local infrastructure industry.
“Pensar’s multidisciplinary approach, client-focused service and a commitment to exceeding expectations really sets the company apart and
I’m looking forward to expanding our footprint across regional Australia.”
